I cannot say enough about the value for money at Lynstone Lakes. The room was immaculate and the cabin had everything we needed, including a BBQ and fire pit. The location was stunning, surrounded by wildlife and only a short drive or walk into town. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast selection could use a little more variety.

We stayed at Lynstone Lakes for 3 nights in the Sandpiper cabin and loved it. The cabin was clean and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed using the barbecue pit for a dinner by the lake, and the hair dryer provided was a nice touch. Paul and Di were great hosts and suggested visiting Boscastle and Tintagel, both with breathtaking views. The location was quiet and private, with plenty of birdwatching opportunities. Highly recommend this place for a lovely holiday with loved ones.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a beautiful cabin by the lake and it was truly a tranquil retreat. The accommodation was comfortable and well-supplied, making it feel like a home away from home. I spent hours enjoying the serene view of the lake and even had the pleasure of watching ducks during breakfast. The location was perfect for walking, with easy access to the canal and the Southwest Coast Path nearby. I also took advantage of the affordable coastal buses, which allowed me to explore different stretches of the walk. I had a wonderful time at Lynstone Lakes and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
Drawbacks of the stay: There was no microwave in the cabin, although it was not essential. The shower was a bit snug, especially for larger individuals like my partner and me.

What an incredible stay! The lodge was sparkling clean and so cozy, truly a home away from home. We were pleasantly surprised to find cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and even a fresh pint of milk waiting for us. The abundance of tea, coffee, and sugar was a much-needed pick-me-up after a long journey. The location was absolutely perfect, allowing easy access to explore both North Devon and different parts of Cornwall. Whether you want to relax on the decking and enjoy a barbecue , fish in the lake, or take a picturesque walk along the cliffs and beach, there's something for everyone. We loved having our own fire pit and logs, as well as the opportunity to bring our own wood and charcoal. We cannot wait to return to this tranquil spot for a few nights of bliss.

I had the most incredible stay at Lynstone Lakes. The cabin was beautifully equipped and cozy, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved waking up to the stunning lake view and the peaceful sounds of nature. The location was perfect - a short walk along the canal into town, where I found fantastic facilities and delicious restaurants. The private BBQ and fire pit were a great touch, and the provided WiFi made it easy to stay connected. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and the soft, comfy mattress ensured a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the attention to detail, with wood for the fire pit and charcoal for the BBQ already provided, as well as milk, tea, and coffee. The wildlife around the lake was a delight to watch, and the carp leaping out of the water was a sight to behold. my stay at Lynstone Lakes was nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
Although minor, I would have preferred if there was a microwave in the cabin, as it would have made meal preparation more convenient. Additionally, it would have been nice if toiletries were provided, saving guests the hassle of packing them.
